The Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. was proud to be a Southern Baptist Minister and it was his deep religious conviction and wisdom that made him a true prophet, someone qualified to speak out against oppression with power and authority, someone who would lay down their own life for a noble and worthy cause.

The Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr. was a Southern Baptist. I suppose you hate him, too, right?
MLK Jr. was one of the few Southern Baptists who had any sort of progressive worldview. I think because of that, we can probably forgive his SBism.
Didn't the SBC mostly oppose MLK Jr.?

IIRC, the Southern Baptists boycotted Disney over a gay pride day there... and that was long after King's death, so King is a red herring here.
Oh, but you made the error of generalization. Should I blame all blog keepers for the sins of some?
Your logic is impaired.
