More Scott Adams

Scott Adams has written another post on Intelligent Design, which includes this analogy:

Imagine that lightning suddenly carves into the side of the Washington Monument the words "I am God. I created you. Darwin was a nut." And let's say there are hundreds of witnesses who all have video cameras and capture it from multiple angles... Here’s the question: Should teachers be allowed to tell science students about the lightning messages?
PZ Myers takes it apart quite nicely.

Here's my own prediction for how Adams will respond, based on his last response to criticism: "You're misrepresenting my position, I never said this was analogous to ID, I just talked about ID and then presented this hypothetical." If so, here's my pre-emptive response: "Myers never said you thought it was analogous, he just showed why it wasn't without reference to your position."

EDIT: Oh, and Tim F. at Balloon-Juice has his own thoughts on this.
